1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file deposited on your device by your browser when you visit a website. It allows the site to remember your preferences and analyse usage. Similar technologies (local storage, session storage, pixels) are governed by the same rules.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Required for authentication, security and core functionality of the terminal. Disabling them would break login, payment, and basic features.

Currently not deployed on EPTA5. We do not run advertising or cross-site retargeting cookies. This category is documented for future-proofing only.
3. Third-party cookies
- Stripe (payment): fraud-prevention cookies during checkout. Stripe's policy: stripe.com/cookie-settings
- Cloudflare (security & CDN), security cookies (e.g.
__cf_bm) used for bot mitigation. Policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy - Trustpilot (review widget, optional), only loaded if you opt in to display reviews.
4. Managing your consent
On the site
A consent banner appears on your first visit. You can accept all, reject non-essential, or customise per category. Your preferences are saved for 6 months, after which consent is requested again.
